Coves and anchorages in Formentera

Espalmador     One of the best anchorages in the Balearics. It becomes very busy.

Playa de Poniente    You will find anchored vessels right along the extensive beach. We recommend you to visit the Restaurante Molí de la Sal, where you will be treated to wonderful evening views, in addition to being offered an excellent range of fish and fish-stew dishes.

Ensenada del Cabrito.  For many years now, three connoisseurs of good living and good cooking have been serving up a high-quality and unusual menu in their beach restaurant here.

Cala Sahona     Very few places in the world will be able to offer you such clean water, such fine sand and such spectacular displays of natural light.

Es Caló    With a sandy seabed and with delightful views of the cliffs along the island's eastern coastline, this is a perfect place to stop and bathe.

Marinas in Formentera

Marina de Formentera / La Sabina. When you ask for a mooring, be sure to request one in the new marina on the port side since it offers very good amenities, as well as being peaceful and pleasant. Failing this, there are additional moorings available inside the La Sabina marina. In the evening, it is worthwhile taking a taxi to the centre of the island to dine in the Fonda Pepe. There you will be encounter the authentic atmosphere of Formentera. If you prefer to stay in the marina, we recommend the
restaurant Agua.
